I'm currently building a website for a gentleman who is conducting a series of interviews with influential people - pretty cool stuff. The website is still WAY under construction, but Jeff (my client) uploaded an article with some pictures so that we could do some testing. Anyways, here is in Warren's office, among a collection of memorabilia, with one item that looks especially out of place. Can anyone identify it?

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! if you want to see a HUGE version with more detail. That's Shaq's shoe and Kobe's jersey in the bottom right, there - not sure about anything else.

I was looking all over for an actual wheel with tire. What I found was much cooler.

Those are probably Nebraska National Champion footballs on the self along with some other Nebraska NCAA stuff, Buffet is a huge fan of the Cornhuskers. Omaha (where he is based) is about 40-50 miles from Lincoln where the University of Nebraska is located. And than he has that Ferrari F1 wheel on his mantle.

Above average dentist office design for the discerning billionaire.

There's also a model of a Burlington Northern locomotive, and a model Nascar #55 (sorry, cant make out the livery so I'm not sure which driver/era car it is).

I think the guy even drives a Camry and lives in a modest home. No joke.

I like that he keeps all the lesser sports stuff in the case, but the wheel is prominent on the fireplace.

This is awesome. I've always had mad respect for the man, even beyond his investment strategies and overall outlook on life. I would love to meet him someday and pick his brain some more!

Thanks for sharing!

PS It's funny you posted this now, I've been working my way through the 2014 Berkshire Letter .

IIRC it is a Buick. Something like a late 90's Buick.

It was for the longest time just an average ranch style house I believe and the car was a Crown Vic, I think he upgraded the last year of the Vic though and bought a brand new Vic...

LOL, nice.

His old Crown Vic(s) were things of much gossip when I lived in Omaha, I guess he has upgraded about the time I left and once more recently.
